Bio: Sasha Norkin is Professor at Boston University and an Internet, Wireless Content, New Media and TV consultant who has worked with companies such as InterActiveCorp, Palm and Hearst. She managed wireless content partnerships & the software download business for Palm & Treo, and helped start InfoPlease.com, which was later acquired by Pearson Education. Professor Norkin was assistant news director & executive producer of news, specials, and production at WHDH-TV and executive producer at WCVB-TV, where she was in charge of the daily newscasts, winning numerous local and national awards. Prior to that Professor Norkin was in news management with Post-Newsweek and Westinghouse Broadcasting. She started her media career working in the White House as a photographer. Professor Norkin teaches a wide range of broadcast journalism and multimedia courses and ran the Podcast Academy at Boston University.
