I am a partner with my husband in our business 7Gens. Currently 7Gens offers web design services, specializing in sites for social entrepreneurs, green businesses and nonprofit organizations. We are interested in expanding to offer online and offline networking for socially conscious businesses and organizations in the Black Hills, SD area. This leap requires much more of my time and we need the financial security for me to be able to leave my full-time position at MAPP-SD (http://www.mappsd.org).
I found the News Challenge and the Garage by accident and I am hanging out here to learn whether our expansion goals are a fit for the Challenge (by reviewing some of the other projects) and to draft an application before submitting it to the contest.
