BIB is a social networking website for individuals 45 and older. The target demographic falls within the following criteria:
-soon to be or already empty-nesters

-computer literate and well-educated

-health-diven and socially conscious

-interested in pursuing long held dreams

-comfortable with on-line communities

BIB is a platform that celebrates and embraces life after 45. BIB provides a support system for those who are not ready to "pass the baton". Individuals who are still interested in what the second phase of life has to offer. This is achieved through social communities and member driven resources. BIB is a lifestyle revolution. BIB will share experiences and compile stories for documentation. BIB will also have podcasts that are directly related to the most relevant topics being discussed by BIB members. In addition, the podcasts will continue with the theme of second phase platforming by playing BIB members original music within the podcasts. We recognize that not everyone is willing or capable of going through the rigorous process of product placement in retail stores. BIB will also create storefronts for those members who want to share their crafts, inventions etc. with others allowing them to generate revenue and perhaps a second career.

There is nothing that will be done in BIB that you cant find somewhere on te web. But what is different is that you can find most if not all the things you are looking for in pursuit of the next phase of life IN ONE PLACE. Everything about this social networking website caters to one specific demographic. Late last year without going into a long story some things were brought to my attention that led me to post a one liner on a website as follows: "if you are 45 and older and you are a musician that needs a platform for your original music contact me" within 24 hours i had 200 emails! As a retired musician and mother and wife I started having dialogue with people past 45 from stay at home moms to professionals (a lot of doctors are closet musicians!!!) and everyone in between. It became clear that we did not have our own "myspace" setup. So many of us are in search of our community. There are websites that speak to that demographic but in a much more stoic resource driven way. (ewx AARP). I want to celebrate who we are. I want to give us a place where we have a voice. I want to creat BOOMBINO- a place for those younger than 45 to post their needs questions concerns and give our members an opportunity to reach out if they want to help that individual who is visiting our site. The musicians -after 35 we become invivisble but the truth is some of your best work comes later. We're like cowboys only no one really wants to walk away into the sunset. We are still the same ego laden attention seeking artists that we ever were its just its no longer appropriate...well here in our community it is appropriate. Non-membes can have access to our artists work for viewing purchasing etc. our musicans. our inventors they just cant participate beyond that. This is our space out time..our llifestyle revolution our "someday is now". BIB is the party you couldnt go to when you were a kid. We want to have fun and give people turning 44 something to be excited about..one more year and you can join BIB!! There is BOOM BOOM a line of strategically made lingerie, because we are more comfortable in our skin and we want to be sexy we just dont want to be uncomfortable. We want to look like Victoria Secret but with comfort. There is so much that I could say so many places we are going to go. The growth potential is endless the membership loyallty (because the older we get the less we lke change) will tremendous. We can reexplore the social meaning of life. Tap back into the the hope that was lost with the eradication of greatness. (kennedy, king, kennedy) Not necessarily "go back" just reapply our true selves. We want to hear your stories on film in the hope of one day compiling a compelling series of stories that without this platform might be forever lost. So much emphasis is placed on the tween, and the 18-35..hello WE a]power those demographics. we are essentially THE power demographic and i suggest we dont want to go quietly into the night. BIB where we can still imagine and more importantly do it!
